Home of Jolanda ist eine kleine Laden im Bad Lauterberg im Harz für Patchwork und Quilts Enthusiasten. Jolanda hat eine Auswahl von Baumwoll-Stoffen, Holzknöpfen, Bändern, Garn und vieles mehr. Ein kleiner Laden in einem alten Fachwerkhaus, und sehr gemütlich.

Heute kann man im Home of Jolanda Stoffe kaufen, Muster erwerben, unterrichtet werden im unterschiedlichen alten und neuen Techniken oder sich in einer Patchworkgruppe engagieren. Home of Jolanda bietet auch ein dreijahr Ausbildung an für Patchworkers und Quilters die gerne Profi werden möchten.

Home of Jolanda is a small shop in Bad Lauterberg im Harz for Patchwork and Quilt enthusiasts. Jolanda has a choice of cotton fabrics, wooden buttons, ribbons, threads and lots more. A tiny shop in an old traditional house, but it is very cosy.

Today in Home of Jolanda you can buy fabrics, have patterns designed, follow a course in a variety of old and new techniques or get involved in a Patchworkgroup. Home of Jolanda also offers apprenticeship for those who would like to become professionals.



Ein Jellyroll sind 40 Streifen von 6,25 x 110 cm und kannst du in Laden kaufen oder online. Sie sind unterschiedliche Streifen von Stoffe bei Home of Jolanda und ein Jellyroll kann verarbeitet nach ein Patchwork Quilt von 1.30 x 1.80 mtr.

Sie sind verfügbar in rot, blau, braun, gelb, grün, rosa und Regenbogenfarbig. In Laden kost ein Jellyroll 42,50 €.

A jellyroll consists of 40 strips 2 1/2" x 44" and can be bought in the shop or online. The strips are cut of different fabrics available in Home of Jolanda. A jellyroll can be worked into a quilt of 1.30 x 1.80 mtr.

They are available in red, blue, green, brown, yellow, rose and rainbow colours. In the shop a jellyroll costs 42,50 €.

Mit den Bedingungen kommt ein Anmeldungsformular und alle Anweisungen die jede braucht eine Quilt erfolgreich an zu melden.

With the terms & conditions is a registration form included. Plus it contains all the directions anyone needs to enter a quilt succesfully.

Du kannst dich auch für ein freiwillige Ausstellungs Aufseher anmelden während die Ausstellung dieser Wettbewerb in Kurhaus Bad Lauterberg 2 Oktober bis 14 Oktober 2012. Benutzt das Formular hier auf die Homepage. (Blatt 1 Deutsch Formular)

Alt Deutsche Patchwork... Historical German Patchwork

Deutschland hat ein lange Geschichte im Patchwork. Den altesten Europäische Quilt war hier im Deutschlan gefunden (Jahr 500), Königinnen haben im Briefen über Ihre Quilts im Schloss geprahlt und die Deutsche Geschichte ist wiederholt im Patchwork.

Die Arbeit des Historische Patchworkgruppe hat klare Hinweisen für ein Vergangenheit im Flickenteppich und Schneidarbeit die verbunden ist mit die Geschichte des Patchwork im Engeland und Amerika gefunden. Diese Gruppe erforscht und trefft einmal pro Monat.

Diese Gruppe wird auch die Grundlage sein für das erste Deutsche Patchwork Museum. Es wird oben das Laden Home of Jolanda aufgebaut.

Das Museum soll deutsche Patchwork und direkt verlinkte Handarbeit ausstellen und ein Bibliothek zur Verfügung stellen für weitere Erforschungen und Studien. Um dieses Museum in 2014 zu öffnen haben schon unterschiedliche Geschäften und Personen Spenden und Geld eingestellt. Auch Sie können hälfen diese Geschichte wieder zu erleben. Rufe Jolanda an wie Sie persönlich, mit Spenden, Geld oder eheamtliche Arbeit, zu das Museum können gehören.

Germany has a long historical connection to Patchwork. The oldest European Quilt (500 AD) was found here in Germany, Queens used to brag in letters about the quilts in their castle and German history was relayed in quilts.

The Historical Patchworkgroup has already found clear evidence that there is a direct link between German patchwork and the English and American patchwork developments in the past. This group meets and researches together once a month.

This group will be the base for Germany's very first Patchwork Museum. It will be rebuild on top of the shop Home of Jolanda.

The museum will display German patchwork and patterns as well as related needlework. It will also house a reference library for further research and study. To realise the opening of the museum in 2014 several companies and private people have already assisted with gifts and financial support.
