This quilt is suitable for a single bed and measures 64” x 89”. The pattern has of course been based on the charity quilt of 2014 ‘Villa Kunterbunt’. We all had a lot of fun sewing that one. This time though is the patchwork sewn in rotary cutting and no in foundation piecing. The pattern is filled with little tricks, but they are at a level that anyone can participate.

The Americans love their barn quilts as a new trend for the last 20 years. They are single patchwork blocks made into 40” quilts. Very often are these quilts, or paintings of them, displayed on the side of barns, hence their name. Jolanda has chosen a block with a more interesting pattern and colour choice. Despite the challenges can anyone participate in this course.
Monday 19.00-21.00 hrs 2,16, 30 October, 13, 27 November 2017
You design your own quilt! You make a patchwork block from the façade of your own house. That will be the centre of your quilt. The rest of the blocks are also based on your life, such as your garden, your street, work or hobbies. The size of your quilt is also your free choice. It can be long and narrow with the local street hanging above your couch or square with different block sizes. Jolanda will assist you in completing your unique project.
